Experimentation with colour, shape and texture
These photographs were taken around the college site and were to experiment with colour, shape and texture. Rather than use the view finder and focus on composotion the focus was on capturing interesting lines and textures. The photos have then been uploaded to photoshop where I have experimented with editing and layering the images. I like how they become more abstract and unrecognisable.

Observational photography in Chesterfield
These photographs were taken from a visit into Chesterfield where we had the task of observing and photographing what was around us and scenes that were more unusual or might make the viewer stop and wonder where the photograph was taken or what exactly is happening in the photograph and what is so interesting about it.
Examination photography inspired by Corinne Day
I found the experience of taking these series of photographs really interesting. I enjoyed taking the photographs of the other person rather than being photographed myself. I felt a little awkward when having my own photographs taken as I felt slightly uneasy trying to have a conversation knowing I was being photographed. However I like the outcome of the photographs as they look very natural as you got engaged in the conversation and became more relaxed and forgot about how you looked.

These pictures are taken from the library. I like how they are only really a small snapshot of the room but it is still very recognisable as a library. In the first photograph I particulary like the reflection in the window as at first glance it just looks likes trees but how actually you can see the book shelves and what is going on behind.
Photos taken around the main entrance and student finance area. The things I find interesting about these particulary the one outside the main entrance are the bold shapes and the straight harsh lines of the building. Yours eyes are drawn straight away to the bold V shape and other feautures of the building work.
